just read your whole build, nice setup cant wait to see some pics. I had dual 400 watt halides but it was on my 225g loved them but hated the $$Electric Bill$$ they do add a ton of heat to the water, mine were about 7-8 inches off the water too.

No, not today. I did just invest into my in school candy business to fund the light rack however. I spent $50 on 60 large boxes of nerds, 20 nerds ropes, and 24 lbs of starburst jelly beans. After I sell it all, I'll have made a $100 profit, more than enough for the lights and a new fishing reel I need. :)
