Right now my 75g is running of a fluval 404... you guys think thats good enuff or should i look into getting a hanging overflow into a sump or something..?

It all depends upon what you are trying to do with the system. If it's a reef system, junk the Fluval, and get a filtration system worthy of a 75 gal tank.

I'd use an overflow, berlin sump and large skimmer, with about 100 lbs of live rock in the tank. A refugium would be optional, but a nice add on.

thanks i probabily will then when i get a few dollars... i have a lil over 100lbs of rock in there as is now...

What kind of media do you have in the Fluval?

If you have biological media, start slowly taking it out over a few weeks. If you just have floss and carbon, you can dump the Fluval now. ;)
