I have tried to load pics onto the site as well as load a pic and enter into the May 2010 photo contest and for some reason it never works. I am not sure either and pretty frustrated.

You have to resize them to upload them to your gallery.

The best way is to get a photobucket account and upload your pictures there then copy the image ulr and paste it in post or reply box.
