Hi,

I have the following coral in my red sea130d reef tank.

Green trumpet coral
Green hammer coral
Red brain
Red chilli coral
Zooantheds

I am using red sea coral pro salt and do a 10 liter water change every week.

My question is do I have too feed my coral or would they get all their nutrients from the salt.

Thank you,
Praba

Most coral will benefit from some form of "Coral Feeding". Some more than others. Some of our coral simply eat tiny particles suspended in the waters column while some like big meaty chunks of food. Your brain coal may like small to medium food which you could slowly squirt some with a turkey baster late at night when/if you see feeder tentacles.

Just be careful when trying to feed your coral because usually its such a fine particle of food that it's easy (VERY easy) to add too much to the tank and cause a roller coaster of water parameters.

Here's an article about coral feeding which emphasizes SPS coral but you can apply it to many other coral as well
Feed your SPS Coral!!!
