You'd be amazed at how cheap you can get some of the equipment and fish for saltwater

Craigslist is the best thing if you are looking for corals from people who are breaking down tanks and giving away fish, inverts, and corals cheap.
I also recommend using the RS sponsors. My favorites are MyReefToYours, Reefs2Go, and Pacific East aquaculture.
