I'm so glad I took the plunge with these lights! They have been running on my 108 gallon since April. I have them set at whites 75% and blues 100%. Here's some pictures

This is how we mounted the lights to protect them from salt spray (thats what destroyed my last lights)

How do you set the % on this version?

They are dials on the front top of the light. Two dials per light. One for blues (0-100%) and one for whites, green and red (0-100%).

Is this true of all the Dimmable models?

Can't say for sure i think some of them have remote controls. These are definitely not top of the line. At only $150 a light comparable to $600-800 for the big name brands i don't mind the dials. Here's an updated shot of my tank.

Think 1 over a 24" wide nano would suffice?

I've got 3 over a five foot tank. But mine aren't mounted that high. If you mount them or hang them higher above your tank you might be able to get that spread out of it. Can't say for sure though.

I have two of those on my 120 gal. (48x24x24) and with the 90 degree optics I have full coverage.

My toady (the rock it was on) decided to let go and go to the bottom of the tank. I was going to try to reattach it but I kind of like it in its new spot what do you think?
