Duncan Issues

I have had this Duncan in my tank for the last 2 months with no problems and then 2 days ago I did a 10% WC however changed from Instant Ocean to Reef Crystals, now my Duncan has been closed ever since and it's got me worried. All my parameters are in order and I use RO/DI as well so any ideas on what may have happened? Is it a lost cause or just a temporary thing it's going through?

As long as your parameters are within reason, it's probably just a temporary thing. My guess is that when you made the switch from IO to RC, one of your parameters may have spiked a little, causing the coral react this way. (grumpy) Duncans are pretty durable though, it should bounce back to normal in a few days or so. GL.

I agree with frisbee, it is most likely a temporary thing. Give it some more time.

just what "parameters" are in order?
Have you checked your Ca, Mg & alk?
IO & RC are different salt mixes.

I have checked Ca and that was at 410 but based on this picture I am pretty happy with the way my Duncan has responded.
