Beautiful. Good luck with the sun corals, they can be hard to care for. As such, many die in tanks. Here is a good read: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2011/12/corals
Great link. I got some tubs to put over them when feeding. I managed to get them fed yesterday but will use the tubs today and see how much of a difference it will make.Beautiful. I gave 1 back as 2 was allot. Other is fine. Unfortunately I have had a big crash and lost all my fish. Removing all corals tomorrow and gonna strip out tank and rescape. Need to take care of some bubble algae also . I guess its part of the hobby sometimes. Definitely not a good part@Desmond How are the sun corals doing?
No idea what happened. Levels are good. Was just the fish that went. Possibly a bacteria infection or something of the sort. New start. All corals moved today. Tank is looking bate but at least i can get ontop of the bubble algae and kill the last few aips and plan a new scape for new year.Sorry to hear about the crash. Do you know the cause?
Thanks its starting to get there again after my crash. Still have some algae but it is starting to clear up now. My light in the fuge had gone low and faulty causing my chaeto to die off and release allot of nutrients back into the system. I have added a new light and new chaeto now and also a reactor with chemipure and a new uv unit. Things are slowly coming around. Hope to have more zoa frags end of April or the start of MayNice !
