Current USA 24g Aquapod and a skimmer

Anyone with a CU 'Pod using their Fission skimmer with it:

I'll be keeping either an anglerfish or a pair of seahorses, so I'm thinking it may be a good idea to do some skimming.

I'll be putting LR rubble in the back compartment in lieu of bioballs for some extra filtration value, but leaving enough room for media bags of carbon/phosphorus removal.

I have rad a few people saying it was a good skimmer if that means anything. I don't have experience with it though.

I went to my LFS to buy the Fission skimmer and the guy did not want to sell it to me because he said it was a piece of junk and that it would not do anything for an aquapod 24 besides make a few bubbles. dont waste your money on it.

We had a couple. They did OK but you have to fiddle with them alot. Fine for low bioload. Go bigger for a bigger load.

I almost bought one too then I heard a lot of complaints about them.
