Coralife Super Skimmer 65 No Bubbles ?

So I get home and my skimmer is producing no bubbles. I have had my skimmer set up for about 5 months working fine. Made no changes and now no bubbles. My first thought was to clean it. I did and it worked better, but not like originally did, for about 24 hours. Then, again no bubbles. Repeated the cleaning with the same outcome. Please let me know if anyone has any advise.

the only thing that comes to mind is that your salt salinity is to low.
i never seen this problem were a skimmer just stops producing microbubbles

I'm at 1.023.. I thought that too but figured that I would just have larger bubbles, not no bubbles at all.

Check the airline going into the pump. Mine gets plugged with salt every now and then. Shaun

what reddog said! probably just need to clean the airline to your pump. probably right where the airline connects to your pump. if its been a while too, id pull your pump and just take a look and see how the impeller looks. dislodge any crud that might be hindering its performance. will definately help with bubble production and better skimming.

You guys are right on the money. I unplugged the airline tube and it was plugged with salt right where the tube enters the pump. Works like new now. Thanks for the help!
