Clowns Breeding in a 5 month old tank?

My pair of OC have been dancing quite a bit lately and a couple nights ago the male began fanning the sand in thier sleeping spot like a madman. Just a bit ago I noticed the female had left the area and was picking at pods but the male was guarding the area pretty aggresively. BUT alot of my CUC and my goby were also hovering close by.
Is it possible she laid a clutch and it was eaten by tankmates before I got to see it?

Like a 40 long? Wouldn't need much light. How about flow and filtration. could I possibly tie it in to my system?
