Chalice/Favia feeding

Recently I have started feeding my chalices and favia, and they seem to be doing and growing much faster. My question with them is if I feed one mouth or head does it go to a central stomach or do I need to feed all mouths to make this more effective. I am pretty sure favias have individual mouths but with chalices does feeding one mouth benefit the whole coral or just that mouth?

If this is the case should only the outside mouths get fed as this is where the growth comes from?

Thanks,

Matt

I feed them with mysid shrimp. You must turn off all of the power heads and sprinkle it over them; it will take a little bit for them to react to the food but they will eat it. The best way that I have found is to use a turkey baster to suck up the food and put it on the corals. The real challenge is to feed chalices. It takes a long while for chalices to get food to their mouths, and in the process fish and shrimp take the food from them.
