I read that bumble bee snails will eat vermetid snails. Does anyone know anything more about this or have them in their tank?

They are predatory whelks. Some report them eating vermitid snails and others don't touch them, possibly there are similar looking varieties like the issue we run into with peppermint shrimps (identifying and finding the correct species).

Pretty sure if they do eat the vermitids they will turn to other live snails for food once the vermitids are depleted.

I have about 20 in my tank, real cool addition and keeps my dwarf cerith population in check. Not sure if they eat vermitid snails since I've never had them but I did see one or two start eating on some algae on one of my frags
