Didn't you find that info in those links I sent you? It will take a bit of reading to find it though, so here it is:
the standard is to leave the tank fallow for 4 to 6 weeks, same as any other parasite...

not legnth in time

I am thinking this has been a prob for awhile after talkin with some people. EVERY clownfish i have owned has died on me, with same symptoms. I went from may till july 20 th with out a fish in my tank, and then it reappears. on this clown.

so, im just currious seeing how i went 2 1/2 mos with out a fish in the tank. and all of a sudden reappears

You can leave the tank fallow for a year, and if you don't quarantine, all it takes is one infected fish and you're back to square 1 again...
Quarantine, quarantine, quarantine...

If you are getting your fish through the LFS, there is a good probability it is in their system or in the wholesaler.
At our store all incoming wild caught clownfish, damsels, and angels are dipped are treated with formalin. Thats why I like ORA clowns, don't have to deal with it, they are always healthy :)
