Blue Tang feeding

I recently received a Blue Regal Tang from a friend that was downgrading his tank and give her to me. The problem is she is so shy everytime I approach the tank she dives in the rockwork and she will not feed while im there. I saw her eat a few of the mysis that fell to the bottom but that it. Do you guys have any idea that I can get her to eat while im there, hate if anything would happen

Tangs do a lot of grazing during the day. Your fish is likely getting enough to eat. Also, the fish is new and getting use to a new home. Tangs can also be very timid fish. I call mine "chicken of the sea". Largest fish in the tank, and it dives out of sight at the least little thing.

Just keep an eye on the fish to make sure there are no other problems, and give it time.
