ANYONE ID this crab?

Ok so here for the last few weeks i thought my emerald crab had been morphing between his green color and the color of this one...UNTIL just now when i got home and they were both out. This is in my 8g....

Generally speaking black tipped claws mean bad crab. I would remove him to the sump or fuge.

Yes black pointy claws is usually a reef tank menace.
The other clue is he is out in the daylight on a coral in the photo.

Dude, that looks like a crab that I seen in a store one day. They called it a rock crab and said they are meat eaters primarily but will eat corals and love to snack on other inverts. I would banish him to the sump ASAP. Shaun

The little bastard wont let me catch him! and his is living in that blasto rock and it has slowly been deteriorating for no reason, im going on the hunt...i knew i had a bad guy around here.

I have a rock crab in my reef. He stays in one cave and never comes out. I hear they make good eating when the claws get big.
