There are a few dwarf angelfish that can live in a 29 gallon tank without any issues, but a few criteria must be met:
- angelfish are much more sensitive to low water quality than other fish, so keep your water clean!
- angelfish can become very territorial when kept in smaller tanks be certain to create a stocking list that will allow for some peace!
- angelfish need to be fed often, be careful not to let this hurt your water quality.
I would not put a bi-color in a 29 gallon tank, as they can get quite large.
A single flame angel would be ok, if the tank is prepared for an angel.
