anemone lighting

I was wondering if 72 watts of 50/50 compact fluorescent on a 24 gal system would be enough light for anemones. If not what is a recommended system. Thanks in advance for any input.

I don't know the numbers, but anemones = high light. Everyone has told me to go MH, but I do have a bigger tank.
Sorry I'm not more help.
Peace

Light levels really deppend on the anemone but for the most part they do require higher light levels. My anemone went directly to the shade in my tank and has never moved (it's under a rock overhang). What anemone are you thinking about getting?

Thanks blue eyes that was a very helpful link. I will probally upgrade the lighting to MH so I should be good. I hear of people having very positive outcomes with them. Thanks again.

It depends on the Anemone some are non-photosynthetic. If it's a Hosting Anemone then you need moderate to intense light again depending on the sp.
