Um cough, uh cat this is ur time of nite. How bout that duncan frag question? Inquiring minds wanna know?

Oh, I don't get home until 12:30- 1:00!

I have never fragged a Duncan but would assume you would so the same thing you do with hammers/frogspawn, which is separate the stalks. I used kinda crude nippers at first, but now I use a dremel on most stuff, except some zoas. It could get too hot for the top of the stem, so I would use a scalpel on that and dremel the lower part. On zoas, if I didn't want to use a scalpel (say there are scattered polyps), I have cut the entire plug in half to avoid stressing them.
