Well, I made an attempt to find and vacate the 2 inch pistol shrimp I 'think' I have in this tank. I took out each rock and dunked it in .030 spg water. I managed to find all my hermits and a peanut worm....but no pistol. I think it ate my recent additions of 2 high fin gobies and a smaller tiger pistol. I havn't seen any trace of those folks in over a week and no sign of any of them during the dunking process. *sigh* I really liked those little gobies...... 
Anyway, in the process I ended up redoing my scape. I'm not sure I like it better than what it was before...but it will have to do for now.

I do like the rock work to the left of the new scape though. I'm keeping the clavularia and xenia off by itself, along with the ugly maroon colored pesky macro/algae so that it doesn't take over everything in the tank.

The blue shrooms are really liking the new location....
the clowns and thier favorite patch of mushrooms....they've adopted them...
