I saw a post on ebay for 10 of these little guys....I thought it was interesting because I had never heard of them before. They are a Temperate species and not for reef tanks. Just wondering if others have heard of or kept them before.

lol I know they can't be kept in a reef tank and I stated that. I was just curious if anyone has ever kept them in a coldwater system or had ever heard of them.

Waratah anemones come from the east coast of Australia... at least thats where Ive seen them. Plenty along rocky shores south from Moreton Bay. Interesting little critters, but Ive been wary of collecting any, in fear that they could become a menace the way Aiptasia do.
If you do buy them, theyre sure to be hardy, coming from rock pools, and sometimes being exposed to air at high tides.
