Hello anyone taking the time to check this post,

As stated in the title I am looking for anyone who has had hands on experience w/ the IceCap gyre. I currently have a 70.3 Waterbox tank being delivered to me and I wanted to know if I can use the gyre on the glass partition in the back, with the back magnet being submerged in the water.

I have scoured youtube and google and have yet to find a single person w/ it set up in a way that would have the mounting magnet submerged.

(This is a link to the gyre https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079T39XKW/?tag=reefsanc-20)

I started in this hobby w/ a 40 breeder and hated all the equipment and wires that you can see so I am hoping I can mount it in this fashion to keep a clean look.

Thank you for reading!

Just to play it safe, mount the unit on the side of the tank, and just live with the one extra cord. I can see why you don't want cords all over the place, but I don't think one like that will be an issus, since you can sneak it out the back of the tank.
