RSM 250 Pump 1

Pump 1 no longer works, and I need a replacement. Other than the Red Sea brand, what other pump fits into that back chamber? I'm considering the Sicce Syncra 568 gph pump. Has anyone else tried this?

I actually wonder if the Sicce Syncra Silent 2.0 (568 gph) is the exact same thing as the Red Sea pump. If not, it's pretty close.

Regardless, I have it and it works really well for the RSM 250. It's a very nice pump!

I use a lower power one (Syncra Silent 1.5) in my BioCube 32 as well.

They are awesome pumps. They are just so much quieter than other pumps I've tried.

Thanks for the replies. Now that I know it will fit, I can place my order. In the meantime, I am using an Aqueon AQ2300, but even though it says up to 608 gph, it just doesn't seem nearly as powerful as my old pump. I think Sicce is the way to go.

I haven’t tried Aqueon, but I think Sicce is likely much higher quality.

Let us know how it goes.
