My Radions I believe run a small wattage lunar light for about 3 hours at night then it goes off so what you’re doing sounds like it’s in line. Looks like the zoo trip was fun!!

Thanks for the feedback @PSU4ME, it is just an experiment to see if I can induce additional growth using the lunar cycles.

I bought this red linckia red star, 4 years ago and disappeared after 3 months. Last time I saw her she was munching my setosa , after that she vanished until today. Happy to see she has survived and is thriving.

Have you fired up the new grow light yet?

That is the part that it sucks, I a sitting in several new gadgets for the but unable to try them. On this case I did not buy the connector to go directly in the wall plug so I have to connect it to the Apex to test it.

Finally I got some decent pics from the torch. It is the torch in the mid right section.

My PO4 touched again 0.5 ppm again so Phosguard is going into the reactor.

That torch looks very nice, as to the phos im at round that but just because Im having to manually dose every few weeks just to keep it at noticeable levels.

Feeding more often gets my nitrates up but dam phosphate wont lol the endless battle.

Small update, wc done two weeks ago, NO3 now in 10 and PO4 in 0.25, the Phosban is doing its job. I asked my friend to take my brain coral to his LFS to try to save it.

My alk consumption has double in the last months as corals are growing like weed.
