i need some epoxy stuff for my tank so i can glue all my frags and get them off my sandbed. my sandbed is almost completely fill with zoa frags

all thats on my sandbed is a plate coral, and red slime algae lol. teh leather has extended some polyps already. do you feed it jeremy? i also have some epoxy. i just need more room on my rock (depth) for coral placement.

Keep in mind that you want to run carbon if you are keeping leathers. Their defense is chemical warfare so you need to have a way to remove the toxins.
I have a lot of different leathers and they are pretty tolerant of most any conditions.

I do run a small amount of carbon but I dont feed it, with growth like that I dont find it very necessary I do feed the zoas phytoplankton thought and I am sure it gets some of that, and whatever else it catches when im feeding the fish. No direct feeding though

i just squirt my mush at all my corals and some in the water column for the fish and shrimp. everything eats it.

How about selling your mush to reefsanctuary users? lol. Maybe Cole will be a millionare that makes fish/coral/invert/etc mush lol.

thats a good idea lol. i'll sell some eventually. its really just fresh seafood from the seafood market. theres reef chili in it which all my lps love. thats really the only "coral" food in there

i cant really run carbon... :tears: my emperor is a fuge, so no room for any carbon, and my skimmer output doesnt really get to my carbon, it just goes up...
BTW the leather is all opened and happy

have you thought about running a Reactor for carbon cole? you can use a phosban reactor and put carbon in there instead of the phosban. or you can run both in one reactor. ... just a thought.

they're pretty quiet. I can't even hear the ones i have. you will need to get a small inline pump for it. something in the 125 - 150 gph range ($15) would do.

or if you have a pump running already you could put in inline with that.

a buddy of mine has a reactor in his return line from his canister filter for his little nano. works great and no extra pump.

The via aqua ones from drsfostersmith.com come with a pump for like $45. I go one a few weeks ago and it is really nice.

thanks guys i think i would get the rio when i get the reactor ( if i do ) it has more output for same price.

The output is controlled by the pump, and the tank size recommendation sizes are based on the flow rates. Once you get your values in check, having a larger flow rate isn't really going to help that much.

these need to move out of my tank, and some Zoas take their place! all one frag.

got at local club meeting, not very big, but they should thrive in my tank like my other zoas / palys.

Sorry, i have problems...


Still has dots, and head problems lol. ive sen this one hang around on my Zoas, but not torch. also see both clowns together 80% of the time, and see them rub on the glass sometimes ( up and down ) signs of soon spawning?

not open for some reason...
