How many 1 watt moonlights should I use? They are on stars and look like Crees but are 1 watt and are blue-I have 4. How many on my 50 Gallon cube? Dimensions are 24" x 24" and 20" deep.
I'll be running 3.33 volts through them at 350mA. My real question here I suppose is "Will eight be too many?" or "Will four be plenty?"

On my RSM130D I was running 2 and it was really dim but with that being said I'm thinking 8 might be too much. Only way to know is build it with 4 and leave room to expand to 8 :)

no way 8 is gonna be too much.... i have 24 LED's (1 Blue ecoxotic stunner strip) over a 29G and i think its the PERFECT amount of light, just enough to light the tank for me to see and make the corals glow, not enough that the corals or fish think its daytime.
