Hello all, been a while since I have posted just wanted to put out an alert to anyone collecting specimens from the Texas Gulf Coast. There is a Red Tide outbreak currently going on. Be carefull collecting anything from the wild, you might get more than you bargained for.

Yeah with a better picture yours is definately different than mine. The head shape is way different.

I say Lavender tang it looks just like mine.

The picture came out a little off but they are more bubble gum pink. I will put some rubble by them and let them grow onto it...always up for fragging.

From the pictures it resembles the Scyphozoan Jellyfish. Thnks for all the info guys. The Asterina starfish were in my main tank and i threw them down in my fuge.

Ok bare with me while I try to describe this thing. It moves like a jellyfish but has no tentacles. It expands its head and looks like a flower then it closes up as its way of propulsion. I have a few pics of it but not that good due to it moving so much and its size. Approx. 1/4" wide...

I am planning on upgrading at somepoint, I was looking at a 90 gal. The wife and I were at a local fish store and they had a Oceanic reef ready 150 gal. It is like two 75 gal put together as far as height and depth go. That might be a tank we upgrade to in a year or so.
