What type of salt mix are you using. I know the IO basic salt mix will be consistently around 7 to 7.5 , reef crystals by IO for me keep it around 9 dkh
I made same mistake starting out on the fly and had to restart. First thing RO/DI, substrate, live rock, skimmer, then fish (little at a time), CUC. Corals and anenome should be aways down the road and it cycles and tank becomes mature
Tank is too young for an anemone. 1 year minimum they prefer established tanks with lots of light and water movement. Stock Biocube lights won't hack it for an anemone, I added a bubbletip at the 9 month mark and it still struggled, now doing fine
