I have never been there, so going by what you say dizzy, go for it. Sounds like it will be less expensive and that you would have some nice water to use.

I agree on making your own, the salt mixes have all the good stuff in them and if you have a RO/DI unit then you are starting the mix out with 0 TDS. I also read that to get the best water for a tank you have to ride out about a mile or so to get the non polluted water
