From sump 1, to sump 2, back to sump 1 so that they are on the same level, just exchanging water between sumps and allow the refugium to work on both displays.

I was thinking I was going to go from sump to sump, the 55 has just a sump with 700 gph pump, filter and protein skimmer and heater. The 120 has a 40 gal. sump that I built a refugium into it with filter and protein skimmer on one end refug. in the middle and two 2500 reo's at the other end.

I have a question about adding a 55 gal. tank to my 120 gal. tank with a refugium below. If I put a 160 gal. pump I the sump in the 55 gal. and send it to the sump- refugium in my 120 gal. with the same size pump going back to the 55 gal. tank, will it be to much for the refugium to handle or...

that's what i did, i will have to work with it more.

Finally, i got my 120 gal. up and running,23 three days in the cycle.

Witch is best for a refugium sump, mud, aragonite,or white sand

its a coralife with 4 bulbs 2 white and 2 blue atinic all are 65 watt

I replaced my lights last month

SO i guess i have just got to give my self more time and patience on this.

How can i get more of the pink or purple coralline in my tank than the green coralline? I was going to put the timer on the lights for just 5 hours but thought i would ask first if this would work before i did. They currently are on for 9 hours.( 55 gallon, 2 10k white,2 atinic 3 65 watt.)
