I have one little issue with the return that it’s blowing the sand bed about do you guys put rocks over near the front of the tank to stop it?

Evening
I’m getting micro bubbles back in my tank from the sump, so my new nyos skimmer is sat where the old one was but on the base, the small section before the return pump is, what do you guys have in that part? On the return pump do you put a filter on the nozzle part?

I don't have the NYOS on any base. It just sits on the floor. Off the top of my head I think it has to sit in 22cms of water, which is about the right height of water in the Sump. In the small section before the Return Pump I have a bag of Carbon. Sometimes I also put a layer of filter floss in there as well. I have no filter on the Return Pump Nozzle.

Hello Luke, yes you can add Ca to the tank but I would not recommend to use NOPOX when you are only at 0.75 only. That number is fine.

Morning
My app is saying 0.75 is high but iv read it really needs to be 1.25-20
I was thinking about useing redsea foundation abc to bring it up but also seen Red Sea colour ABCD?

Foundation ABC is Calc, Alk and Mag. Colours ABCD are Trace Elements and totally different.
I run my tank with Nitrates around 10ppm and I'm happy with that. At 0.75ppm expect to get algae.

Hi
Your right iam starting to get algae....
I got a H20 pro dosser last weekend,
I’m
150ppm low on calcium
1250ppm low on magnesium

so iv set my pump to doses of 00.00 tonight-
24ml a day calcium so +8ppm a day
24ml a day mag so +4ppm a day
Iv added a picture of what I’m now adding

I’m not so sure what to do about how to raise the nitrite
