Pet Supply Liquidator Help(got screwed)

So I orderd two 250watt pendants with bulbs and ballasts. (Notice the plural) They sent me the 2 fixtures and 2 bulbs and 1 250 ballast but charge me for 2 singles. As 2 singles usually run more expensive I've been trying to explain to them the difference but there best response yet is "The Ballasts are OEM"......
If anyone can give me any information on them I'd be grateful.
Phone # would be awesome, they won't give me one....

From what I hear, they are notorious for screwing stuff up like this. I can't help with any info, sorry. Good luck, I hope you can either get what you wanted, or your $$ back.

I have seen a lot of people having trouble with these guys if im not mistaken they had a change of ownership not long ago and thats when the problems started but i could be wrong. I did a search on yahoo in the yellow pages and they say there is no listing for pet supply liquidators in or near Wilton, CA so you might try getting in touch with the company who shipped the stuff to you (fed-ex ups etc.) they should have some contact info with these guys that way you can get ahold of them. Hopefully this will help you out a little.

I thought they were also catalina aquarium products? You could give that a try.

i had a bad experience with them about three years ago, on a halide retrofit kit; then a good experience with them about a month ago. so i don't believe the poor customer service is a recent problem.
they are also operating on ebay under another name (AQUARIUMLIGHTS) to hide their identity (and you can't read their feedback), but when the package arrives, it's postmarked from PSL.
they sell CA lights (and other CA products). i'm not sure if the two companies are the same. they claimed that the 250 watt 14K halide that i bought (CA brand) is made in germany and is the same as ushio (the brand i've been using). i have had a bad taste in my mouth for CA products for several years, but i really can't complain about the halide i just got.
so, all-in-all, they are one and one with me.
