Nice, nice people, but...

I can't do business with anybody who ships USPS.

I've sat around my house for two complete days now.

Once they had a problem at GARF and didn't ship my order. Stuff happens and I'm OK with that. They had more important things going on apparently.

The second time it was USPS fault. The tracking just sucks. They update it once a day in the evening. I had no way of knowing the package was held up overnight and wouldn't be delivered today. With any other carrier I get updates every time the package is scanned.

Go to the customer service line and you get stuck in voice jail trying to tell you where to pick up tax forms.

For this I paid some ridiculous amount for shipping.

It would have been cheaper to go the LFS

Re: Garf

Honestly, I think shipping is getting bad all the way around. I had an overnight shipment via FedEx show up 5 days late just recently. Their constumer service is just as infuriating.

I've ordered from GARF before...just Grunge. No real problems. Too bad!

Re: Garf

Oh, and depending on the timing of the first order, I have heard that Leroy's wife is terminally ill and things have been a mess for the last several months.

The first order was a family emergency thing. It was understandable, but had it been through FedEx or UPS the tracking would have said billed but not received. USPS just kept saying no information was available or the number was bad.

In fact it still doesn't mention anything about being delayed as of 7:30Central. No delivery date or anything.
