bum deal

the last couple days havnt been the greatest for me. i bought a calcium reactor of a guy on rc,(its knowbody that has posted one here). so i am pretty excited, i really liked the set-up and it was a good price. well, the guy pm's me and tells me he sold it to a guy locally. i was so mad. the guy couldnt wait an extra couple of days to get the check. the majority of reef hobbyist i meet are great people, but this just goes to prove the exceptions.

In a way you could say you got lucky, you could have sent the money and be out the reactor.

No one has even mentioned this...If you want a good calcium reactor, contact StoneyReef. He's one of our members, and makes & sells them. Pretty good units from all reports.
On the issue of the other fellow not wanting to wait...stuff happens, sometimes it's a case of "money talks, B.S. walks". Maybe he's been burned before by someone saying they will send a check, then changing their mind.

i see what your saying boomer, but still thats pretty low. i mean committing to the deal, if he didnt want a check then he could have declined my offer. you dont tell someone its theirs and then sell it to someone else. thanks for the advice about stoney reef, i'm gonna check em out.
