Has anyone ever ordered from them? How are they?

Well, I bought some coral from them anyway. So far not to happy. I ordered at 7:20 am on Monday and got an email fom them saying the order has been processed (same day). They aren't shipping the order out until Thursday. I just thought that was odd. I had to email them (no number) to find that out. I only ordered two zoo's from them. THe only thing I can figure is that they aren't fragged yet. Oh Well.

Some places only ship out on certain days (Not sure if they are one of them). Although Thursday is not typically one of those days. It's usually earlier in the week when there is less chance of flight delays...

It's very possible that it wasn't fragged yet. Like mentioned by mps9506 most online vendors who ship live critters and LR have designated shipping days. It just makes it more predictable and ends up costing the consumer less money in the big picture. If they are over-nighting it then Thursday shouldn't be an issue.

well, just got an email from them saying that Fedex can not guarantee overnight shipping due to inclement weather, so it will ship out on Monday and arrive tuesday. THe worst part of this is that the coral is in Raliegh, NC and I am just outside Charlotte, NC. About a 2 or 3 hour drive.

I feel your pain. Last week I had some "zoas" shipped in and they arrived in the next county over earyl Thursday morning and stayed there till the next afternoon. That's a 20 minute drive!! Arrggg...

Can't wait to see what they look like.

WOW! Excellent choices, I believe I have just found a couple to add to my .... need ... <ahem> want list too.

Keep us posted on the order, maybe they'll make it up to you by throwing in a little something extra, some vendors have been known to do that.

I would have just driven up there with a cooler to pick up the livestock rather than put it in the hands of Fed Ex. I have done that many times with some other places in the RDU area.
The other thing I always specify as well is for them to hold the shipment at the FedEx shipping office for me to pick up. That way I can pick it up at 8 or 9 am instead of having it driven all over town before getting to my house.
