Had I tore the system down not to long ago. I am just happy I found a local reef big enough and stable enough to house the T.Gigas. I get to see it also now and then, it is in a chinese restruant 300 gal reef.

Blurp, get a few more actinics over that tank. It looks like you have a blue rim on that clam.

1st you can check the size in the 2nd thread linked in my signature...
2nd yes it does have a blue rim, but it came yesterday and I bought the very same lighting which was used. I think it's got 3x 250 metal halides + 2x54 Actinic T5
3rd this is the 1st time I come along this club and am sorry, Frankie , I haven't had the chance to see your clams yet, even if they're gone

Thanks KLR, it's a pomacanthus imperator, often said to be non-clam safe, however, this one haven't had a bite in 4 years, but it's rather a lottery game...If you look for clam-safe fish, get some surgeon, they're mainly veggies...
