Nice clams Johnny! We would like to have a clam but, need to do some more research first. Also, would have to come up with the right place to put it since we have a Dusky Jawfish who likes to throw sand.

Gina alot of the clams you can put up in your LR and they will be away from the jawfish!! They will attach with their so called foot!

Barry mentioned that a good beginner clam would be a T.Deresa. Would that do ok in the rocks?

Hey Gina,
Yeah the T. Deresa will do great in the LR. If ya got a ledge you can sit it on or small flat area it should do fine!

T. Squamosa is also an excellent beginner clam. I kept my squamosa under 220w of PC lighting before finally getting my halide, and it's still trucking right along.

Jeeze... the mantle on your one clam reminds me of the Flying Nun, Johnny...

great looking clams,gina im keeping a crocea clam under 540 watts of pc lighting in my 120 and hes doing great.
