| Plate Coral | Which is the more striking looking fish? And do they change a lot from juvenile to adult? I think the Imperator is nicer but the guy at the lfs told me its the Koran thats nicer. So maybe I just dont see good pictures to tell....anyone? |

| Plate Coral | You must have a big aquarium for these fish, as they grow to about 1ft+. Check out these sites for some more information, and here are some pictures... Koran Angelfish ![]() http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=412 Imperator Angelfish http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=411 And I have to include another, which I just love because of the colours! Annularis Angelfish http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=351 Hope that helps,

| Reef Shark ![]() | I've kept both over the years, and while both are gorgeous fish, IMO, the imperator is much more beautiful as an adult. The Koran gets much larger at adult sizes too. Either one should have at least a 200 gallon tank to grow in, and lots of live rock with algaes and sponges to graze on. Pomacanthus Semicirculatus Pomacanthus Imperator

| Golden Moray | I saw an Koran Angelfish get plopped on the floor during a transfer at a lfs. They are very large as adults, every bit of 12"... larger I thought and thick. I was quite surprised...so was the Angel as it flopped around I'm sure!

| Tunicate | Re: Koran vs Imperator Angel AN adult emperator will beat the living daylights out of other fish in the tank if the tank isnt large enough to establish living areas at night. Pesonaly I am a BIG french angel and emperator fan. Korans are nice dontget me wrong, but those are the angels who's colors do fade when they reacha certain age. |
