| Bryozoan | constructing FO tank hi everybody, now iam constructing a 100 g fish only tank i have the tank 135 cm * 50 cm * 60 cm external filter 2200 litre/h with UV light icluded light about 12000 kv + girolux + moon light wave maker 5000 litre/h little dead rocks (i dont like lots of rocks) any advice you can give me |

| Tridacna maxima | Re: constructing FO tank Have you looked into a protein skimmer yet? They make a world of difference most of the time for most systems. I would run a sump and put rock in there. The Live Rock is where alot of your filtration comes from because its what houses the bacteria needed for the nitrogen cycle, without if you are bringing a knife to a gun fight for lack of a better analogy. Run a sump/fuge and put a good amount of rock in there.
