So I'm setting up a new 130 gallon FOWLR system. I already have a beautiful reef and now I want to get some of the larger more beligerant fish. My #1 is a Clown Trigger, but I was wondering what is best to house with it. I was thinking about a Naso Tang, Dragon Wrasse, and Lion, but don't know how compatible they will all be. Any other ideas for me would be appreciated. I'm researching each fish so common names would be easier for me to check up on.

Harlequin Tusk Wrasse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have often thought of how wonderful it would be to have one in a reef tank

Gotta watch out for the trigger and the lion. Triggers are good at picking on those beautiful flowy pectoral fins on the volitans.

Personally I'm more partial to the blue throat triggers, they arent as bossy as the clowns, and not as commonly seen, although typically cheaper than clown triggers. A male/female pair of blue throats swimming in the tank is very cool.
Also maybe an eel would be cool. Zebra moray pehaps? The coolest would be a dragon moray, although those are serious $$$ and supposedly very mean and hungry critters

Can't think of anything else at the moment I could suggest for a FO.

miniatus grouper are beautiful and stay small for a grouper

Speaking of groupers, I forgot my personal favorite, The Blueline grouper.

the clown trigger would rip the lion apart in short order clowns generally should have a tank to themselves because they tend to be just a little to rough to be housed with any one else however a lot of people do keep them with other fish just be careful.

Thanks folks, maybe I'll have to rethink the clown and go with a different trigger or with something a bit different.

Harlequin Tusk and Triggers will predate all inverts that you may have/want. Just natural food for them those snails, crabs, and shrimp!
