My boyfriend's 72g FOWLR

Okay, so it's technically not my tank, but it's in my apartment, and I've got to show it off!

72g bowfront FOWLR
48" Coralife power compact
Fluval Canister (will be replaced with sump when he buys larger tank)

Black Dogface Puffer
Porcupine Puffer (he thinks he's a puppy)
Goldstripe Maroon hosted by a BTA and an LTA
Lunar Wrasse
Lawnmower blenny
Juvenile French Angel
Juvenile Imperator Angel

The Imp. is a rescue--he's got lateral line really bad, but I think when he heals and grows up he's going to be my favorite in this tank.

Pics:

Full Tank Shot

Frenchie--note the blue on his fins

The Imperator; I love that he's smack dab in the middle of changing.

The Imp, Goldstripe, and Lunar Wrasse

Dogface

The puppy of the tank

Do they make toys for fishes?

The color on the LTA is unreal

Can you see the lawnmower blenny? I could swear he was right there...

Re: My boyfriend's 72g FOWLR

I just reviewed the last post and realized the tank looks like it's black on a black stand. It's actually pine on a pine stand.

I love the puffers. they have such great personalities compared to other fish. It does look like the blenny is sleeping. very nice set up.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

hahaha. As long as they're not large expensive shrimp. I finally swallowed my pride and bought a cleaner shrimp for my reef. One of these days I'll have the guts to plunk down the change on a shrimp/goby pair.

What happened to the days when we bought shrimp by the pound?
