| Tunicate | My pH jumped up Everything was going along fine and than yesterday my pH jumped from 8.2 to 8.8. My tank is about 6 weeks old. Fish look great. I am using Aquarium Pharm test kit and like a previous poster I am having lots of mixed readings. High ammonia, than normal Ammonia. Than High again I changed 25% of the water one week ago and usually top of the tank with RO water once a week with about 4-5 gallons. I cleaned the biobale. and added a Fluval 404 with ammonia uptake material in it today. Second question what's the deal with the search feature on this site? When I was searching for the subject "pH" or "pH testing" I kept getting a message about "my word was too short"? What's up with that? 110 Gal tank Fish only 350 Mag filter bak pac double skimmer 2 blue dams 1 Dimino 2 zebra dams one shrimp one hermit crab one yello tang about 4_5" in lenth |
