questions on stocking 35 gallon FOWLR

Just curious if anyone would think a snowflake eel and two triggers would be to much for a 35 gallon tall. The triggers would be a Niger and a picasso. Thanks

Yeah I think that might be a bit much for the 35, you might could pull it off with a big skimmer and some good filtration.

there is a rule for stocking fish but i broke that rule numerous times. just make sure you have a big skimmer and excellent filtration and be prepared to do water changes so often - i would say weekly.

I would have to say that is way too much for a 35 gallon. Assuming you had no issues with the triggers getting along I would suggest at least 75-90 gallons of tank size.
Although snowflakes don't get very large, I would say from a husbandry point of view you want them in a 65-75 gallon tank long term. I suggest purchasing larger specimens as the tiny ones that are popular with the wholesalers these days are physically damaged pretty easily. Try to purchase one that is at least a foot long already, this will also reduce any picking by your trigger.

Yeah that is definitely not a good stocking list. You could, however, go with a smallish snowflake eel and a dwarf lion. If you're going for an aggressive fish tank, you will be much better off with a bigger tank...
