Fluffy ate!!

Well Fluffy my lion ate a dead ghost shrimp yesterday WHOO HOOO!!!
I got him some ghost shrimp and a few feeder guppies. I threw a live shrimp in there and he ate it. Then I threw a guppy in there and he ate it too. Live of course. Then One of the shrimp looked almost dead so I stuck him on a peice of thread (After I made sure it WAS dead) and Fluffy ate it too, off the peice of thread.

I had my hubby put a guppy in the freezer and when I came home last night I threw it in there and he at it too. So it wasn't moving just floating on the top and Fluffy came up to get it.

I'm soooooo happy that he is getting closer to getting off live food.

Great to hear that. After he's been eating the dead guppies and shrimp for a a little bit without giving him anything live to begin with you can slowly start to give him a more varied diet. It sounds like he's coming along really well now.

Fantastic!! I knew you would do it.....get him trained on a veriety, not just silversides and krill.....way to go, its been four month with my Dwarf Lion and he has only taken dead food a couple of times.

My sister was here and she laughed at me cause I was so excited when he ate the shrimp I just yelled ""YES"""

I was even doing "THE FLUFFY ATE" happy dance.
