Yes! Absolutely!

Competition is a healthy part of the energy that drives us to be more than we are today.

Bring it on!!

P.S. This was my 100th post....Woo hooo! You know the old saying that we should listen more than we speak? That is why God gave us two ears and one mouth....I guess that really doesn't apply here...'cause God gave us two eyes and ten fingers.....but then, I do just use two....perhaps I need to continue to read more than I type.....

I voted yes. But, can there be a limit to the number of wins so the same awesome photographers don't win every contest? Something like allowing a person to only win once per 3 months?

I think they should be able to compete. I also like Woodstocks idea that ANY winner should be put on somesort of limit...that way others have chance to compete as well. Once every 3 months sounds fair to me...

I like the limit idea. That way the rest of us have a fighting chance against some of the amazing ones (cough Travis cough)

Yes

It might be a good idea to make sure that any contest is not judged by MOD's only. Bring in a control group.

photo contests are judged by "polls" and every one gets one vote so a mod can vote for themselves just as i would.

I like the idea of limited times to win. That sounds fair.

i think mods should compete to, and if Travis wins photo comps to many times just demote his camera to a throw away to even the odds

just kidding

well, the reason i joined and contributed to this site, is the family atmosphere

i think of most of you as family, (yes, including the mods)

so i say we Alll should have a chance, from Mr. 'T' to Teri, the Mods, even Don (Teri's hubby)

LOL maybe intimidation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I have no intentions of participating in any RS contests, and I doubt Teri will either. Our prize is the satisfaction of watching a successful contest and the benefits it brings to the board.

Plus, I'm not sure how the sponsors would feel about it if they donated a prize and the admin won.

I say every member is eligble. Ok well........maybe we should ban people like Luis(playa), Travis and Robz cause there camera and tanks are just too much J/K LOL

P.S I do like the idea of a limit as well.

I would also like to add that I love the way Teri and Travis ask us are opinions it gives me that added sense of community. Keep up the good work!!!!!
