I personally would love such a forum for all he reasons David mentioned. I can't tell you how many times I have thought to myself, "I wonder what Craig's tank looks like," or "Wit is really adamant about this type of filtration, I want to see it on his system," etc...

It would definitly go in my signature if I posted pictures of my tank and threads could alwys be updated as your tank grows/changes/matures...

Take er easy

I like the idea.
Now if I could just go through all the pics to document my tank from start to finish I know where to put it.

Wit…
I even have a 1” sand bed here and in the goldfish tank too

i am in agreement with tg... if it means that we cant post pics in gen disscussion theni dont want it.
i do like the idea where we can have a forum where we all post our stuff and keep it updated, but i hope we can still post current uptodate pics in gen discussion

Go for it, but like mnreefman and tank girl said, only if we can still post some pictures in the general disscussion area.

Peoples..

Either way you look at it.. the board is Evolving and as we seen already.. the moderator and administrators are trying to prevent photo post in the General Discussion forums anyways..

we are kind stuck.. Either we don't start this forum and they start moving our photo threads to the "photography" forum, Or we start this one and we get to post them there.

Of course it would not be all Photos.. But Photo related threads.. Meaning the only reason you posted them was to Bragg and get props for them!!

I take it you can careless for the thread about my reef. Is ok you are entitled.

I will go with the flow as always.

Another thing tooloud I post a lot of pictures because that is what I do best in the hobby. I stink at plumbing and so on, and this is why you never see me giving much advice on anything.

Put me on the record for going with the flow.

Playa, I don't think you should mistake Tooloud's abbrasiveness as a personal attack on your thread. I think he is reffering to a forum such as this giving us all the oppurtunity to brag about our tanks. I don't want to put words in his mouth so he can correct me if I am wrong...

Playa, we all love your photos no matter where they may be on RS!

Take er easy

One question for the mods/admins...

If this forum is created, are current "showcase" threads going to be moved to the new forum? If so, is there anyone that is going to object to this?

I just don't want the same issue to arise once again...

Scott thanx for your interest.

"If this forum is created, are current "showcase" threads going to be moved to the new forum? If so, is there anyone that is going to object to this?"

There will be no objection on my part on anything Teri and Travis decide to do, none whatsoever.
