Where did the little clown go?

I am refering to the little clown that was just added next to the http address. Now I have a red circle with a white C in it.

Must be my computer then. I know there is a cache somewhere that can be cleared. Can someone tell me where that is?

I can tell you on an apple but no idea on a pc.
maybe in your file or edit drop down at top of your browser you will find Empty cache

In IE7, go to tools, internet options, general tab, browsing history, delete button, delete temporary internet files.
