Arrow Photo Gallery Update ...

If you have a chance, check out the "new and improved" Photo Gallery.

We've upgraded to PhotoPost 4.7 which offers a few cool new features.

A few are...

The search feature (within the photo gallery) has been greatly improved:

You can now "subscribe to a gallery" (about mid-way down the page when in a specific gallery).

Subscribing to a gallery will email you whenever a new pic is uploaded to this gallery.

Another really cool feature -- at the bottom of each image the vb code is automatically included. So, if you want to link to a pic in the gallery in your post, just copy this code and paste it into your post!

One last thing, this isn't new, but don't forget to use the "Slideshow" feature. This will automatically show you a slide show of all pics within the category you choose.

Well, I do know that in the newest version of PhotoPost, the default is to only display under "Member Galleries" - photos that were actually uploaded to the "Member Galleries" category. Since, technically, all photos should be uploaded to the specific category, and not the generic Member Galleries category, it is correct that you wouldn't see any photos there now.

What bugs me is if you click on the "My Photo Gallery" link under a User's avatar, you are now brought to their (empty) Member Gallery. You can then click on the link there that says "Click here to see all of xxx's Photos", but IMO, that's where the "My Photo Gallery" link should have brought you to start with.

I'm not sure if there's a fix for it, but I will look into it.

Thanks for noticing that!

I'm not sure which file correlates with our view_topic_body.tpl in vbulletin, but in the postrow, where you have provided the link....

<a href="photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser={postrow.POSTER_USE R_ID}&thumb=1"

That is part of ours the part in braces is how phpbb IDs the poster ID to tell the link which gallery to get...in the link change cat=500 to cat=all and you should also be able to remove the &thumb=1, but it shouldn't be necessary to remove that portion.
