Need your help please

As the site grows, it becomes less and less possible for our mods to read every post in every thread, and frankly we shouldn't expect them to.

I'd like to remind you all that there is a way for any member to report a post they find offensive or in violation of the member agreement, and I encourage you to use it.

Not frivolously, please, but if you see something that you think needs moderation, it would be a great help if you could let us know by reporting it. If you think it's borderline, think twice before reporting.

Also, it's tough to keep your finger on the pulse of 600-plus people and what they find amusing versus what they find truly offensive. So, again, if something really, truly offends you please let us know.

We can't promise that action will be taken on every reported post, but I will guarantee that every one will be looked into.

Thanks for your help in keeping RS an environment we all enjoy.

Maybe a "Report this Post" link to report the post in question? Several other sites have just such a thing.

There is a report this thread to a mod. Look along the darker blue header to the right of a post and you will see the word...report.... that is it.

Depends on the skin you use, but it should be there. On the default (vbportal) skin, it's in the bottom right of the text box.
