On-line Real Time Raffle

Hey,

As a moderator over at 3Reef.com I just wanted to bring to everyones attention this really cool feature that Matt Rogers, site administrator, came up with. The first 300 members with 20 posts were put into a pool, data base, and then a random number generator will pick the winner from the pool live and in real time.

You are more than welcome to watch, it should be kind cool. This is just FYI and no problem if you don't wish to surf over to http://www.3reef.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?action=raffle to watch. I'm not sure if you need to register or can view as a guest. It will conclude in 30 minutes at 11:00 AM PST on Saturday, January 31, 2004.

Well it was way cool. The countdown and then the simulated fireworks and the flashing of Curt's username and avatar! Congrats bud and your tank will be a great place for one of Barry's beautiful clams! That lamp is just the ticket for your office, eh?

Gina, Curt is really busy today, so I'll answer for him...lol Check out the link Craig has at the top of the thread. He won a $50 GC to Clams Direct, a rotating fish lamp and framed coral reef stamps. Pretty Awesome!
